What is the best 8 camera DVR card for use with Webcam Looker? Will the geovision cards work with it? Thanks

Any multi-port video capture card with "WDM" (i.e. having driver for Windows) and one chip per channel will work great at fastest fps with both WebCam Looker and Xeoma.
One of such great working and low-cost cards is 8-port Camsecure878 from camsecure.co.uk
Just make sure you order the card with "WDM" drivers. Because they have some new cards marked as without such support.
We do not recommend to buy cards where 1 chip per 4 ports, because they do not have full compatibility with Windows and even if they have WDM drivers you will see very slow fps (about 1-4 pictures per second) for your video. But many cheap cards do not have Windows drivers and it is not possible to use any third party webcam software with it, except the manufacturers software coming with the card itself. That means, usually Windows XP and 32-bit only support and much less flexibility.
Make sure you use card that has DWM drivers, otherwise it will not work.
