Eye Sight IP935FW PTZ, Zoom and HD Support ?

Postby cbrassel » Thu Aug 28, 2014 3:41 pm

Hy,

I have just receive my Eye Sight (www.estcctv.com) ES-IP935FW ip cam, the basics are working but no PTZ or Zoom are working, and the stream is MJPEG stream not H264 HD video.

Any idea how can make this working ?

I use the Xeoma 14.7.18 Commercial release on Ubuntu server with Mac Clients.

Regards

Streams: by default, Xeoma tries to set an MJPEG stream for preview while using H264 for archiving. It's done to lessen the CPU load. You can re-configure Xeoma to use H264 stream for preview as well. Just paste the H264-stream's URL into the 1st 'Full URL...' filed in the Universal camera settings in Xeoma, or copy it from the second URL field to the first.

We've long enhanced work with PTZ in Xeoma. You can now try different presets Xeoma has found for your PTZ camera in the "Universal Camera" module advanced settings and/or give Xeoma a hint if unusual port is used ofr PTZ in your camera!
