Hi, i have some suggestion, may be some of the are already covered but still don't figured out how to do it.
- Recording activated by a PIR (passive infra red) sensor. Some cameras have the hability to connect a PIR to them as a trigger event or just to reuse the UTP cable. The PIR sensor have much less false triggers than a motion detection done with a video camera, especially on open areas, plus it doesn't use CPU power to do the job.
- Recording activated by a microphone. When the sound reach a level start recording for a predefined time or while the sound is over the mark that trigger the recording.
- Recording activated by other camera. Example: If camera 1 start recording because of it's motion detection module, while this camera is recording also trigger the recording of other camera.
- Recording activated by an external event, like an external sensor handled by other program. I think the HTTP Switcher can cover this one.
- Manual recording. Add a button to start and stop recording manually. Restricted or limited time bye user level.
- Special recording profile. In case of manual recording or triggered alarm, been able to specified another video streaming (usually a higher quality and frames per second). Much the same way you already do with the real time view and storing.
- Marking the video when exporting. Been able to use of the Marking Module but when you choose to export the video.
- When taking a snapshot (exporting current frame) it will be better if the program export the frame that is on the screen (circle mark) insted of the first frame (left invert triangle mark).
Thx.
