Exporting part of a segment

I've noticed when exporting video, it exports the entire segment rather than exporting exactly what the markers surround. Is this normal behavior?

Hello! Could you please be a bit more specific? What version of Xeoma are you using? What is your OS? By "the entire segment" do you mean the entire blue line under the video in the Archive? Have you tried this with different segments and different cameras?

I'm using the current beta version, Standard, on Windows.

More specifically what I mean is, say for example one camera detected constant motion for 1 minute. When the pre and post record is added, say each is 5 seconds, that's 70 total seconds of video; that's what I'm calling a "segment".

If I want to export only part of that 70 seconds, I move the little triangles to surround the section I want to export. But, the exported video file is the entire 70 seconds.
