error 250 in eMail sending

I have set up the eMail module and when I press the test button, I get error 250. No mails are being sent.

Message '250 - Requested mail action okay, completed' signifies that the email must be sent. If you don't receive test emails, please make sure all specified settings (SMTP, port) are correct.

check your SPAM folder!
