ARMv6 on Raspberry Zero

Postby kozmokramer » Tue Nov 14, 2017 2:52 pm

Hi,

I tried to update to latest version (normal and beta) on my raspberry zero and when running command
Code: Select All Code
./xeoma.app -install -coreauto

I get
Code: Select All Code
Illegal instruction

What is the latest version that actually works on raspberry pi zero or is it some different version I should download? Previous version 17.5 was working fine with armv6

thanks

Hello! Unfortunately, 17.5.5 is the last release supporting RPi Zero and RPi I. We recommend sticking to this version.
If support for any kind of device is discontinued, it is always outline here. The same page holds all the previous versions.

Hi, yeah, I just downgraded to that version and it works, will it work if I upgrade my client to latest version and leave server version on my raspberry on that, or it is a must to have both same versions?

Generally, it's better to keep server and client versions the same - this will ensure that no compatibility issues arise. However, since the current version is not particularly far from it, you can try using that. You may want to keep that version on the client, though, without updating in the future.
