Archive not showing all days after reboot

Postby bazgrant » Wed Aug 28, 2013 2:53 am

Hi,

I have been using the software for almost a week and recently purchased the 4 camera lifetime option. I have noticed that after rebooting my server and then I go to archive for any camera, it only displays the available archive up to that reboot point, not any before that point. I understand I can navigate to the recording folder and play the video files in vlc but I would expect the software to read any archive that is available in the recording folder?

Many thanks,
bazgrant

Sorry for the late reply. What is your OS?

Thats ok :)

I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 64bit. It seems to give me different days available in the archive for each camera after each reboot :(

Are you saving video from H-264 stream to your archive or from other stream? In other words, are you saving .mp4 or .xem files in your archive?

It is saving .xem files to the archive folders (I have a separate folder for each camera)

During the installation process, did you choose to autorun Xeoma?
You can give us the remote access to your computer using TeamViewer. In that case we need to know IP adress and a password from TeamViewer.

Please contact our support team.

I did choose to auto run, yes.

I will have to setup teamviewer later and give you the details. That is a link for a generic support request, how do I link it to this thread, just paste the URL in?

Yes, just send us a link to this thread and your ID and password from TeamViewer when it will be convenient for you.
You can send via web form or to the "Technical Support and Licensing:" email written below on the contacts page.
