Banana Pi + Xeoma = ARM NVR

I have purchased the 8 camera license and a banana Pi (http://www.bananapi.org/p/product.html) running bananian (https://www.bananian.org/download).
The difference of raspberry is that Banana Pi supports SATA drive!
You can move the rootfs directory as descripted here -> http://gleenders.blogspot.gr/2014/08/banana-pi-boot-your-rootfs-from-sata.html
Using some betchmarks from internet, banana Pi (I used m1 version) using SATA drive is better that Raspberry Pi ( more: http://www.htpcguides.com/raspberry-pi-vs-pi-2-vs-banana-pi-pro-benchmarks/)
Using 5 ip cameras I see that resources are high but are resonable.


A small wish list for developers:
1. H264 support for ARM
2. a banana/raspberry pi image optimised/pre-installed xeoma
3. a plugin to trigger GPIO pins of banana/raspberry

Does ARM support audio stream? I can not get any sound from the cameras.

The point 3, GPIO trigger plugin can be done with the HTTP Switcher, and a couple of shell scripts. I'm doing something similar on a PC with a small program reading the flags of a serial port where I have connected a PIR sensor.

I perform a very basic gpio control using "Appication Runner" but I like better respond (scripts have an extra delay). I like to get it from software itself as my banana pi is installed inside an camera case and I have put a IR ring of LED for lumminate an area that a camera has as FOV. I like to turn off or on IR LED when motion detection found. so it requires the smallest delay I can get

I just tried a webcam that was sitting on closet. Model is Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000.
1st. Issue is too unstable (most of times xeoma reports not connected) I keep getting the following:

Any help is appreciated.
2nd. issue: no sound stream is reported also (I thought it was only for IP cams due to wrong sound URL).
mic is working fine as i tested on banana capturing a record from console using arecord command and play it.
Real need help on this as I like to trigger events on sound detection.
