Hi,

I am trying to setup a Foscam FI8910W. Xeoma is able to find and add the camera only if it is set to its default settings. If I log into the camera and setup the username and password Xeoma no longer is able to connect to it. Also, when Xeoma is connected to the camera the PTZ capabilities of the camera are not available.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Please, contact our tech support. The direct access to your camera may be needed to be able to fix the issue.

I had this same problem.

I changed the "rtsp://" to "http://" in the stream settings of the camera.

for example "rtsp://192.168.1.5:88/videoMain" was changed to "http://192.168.1.5:88/videoMain"

Xeoma then recognised the PTZ controls under the use PTZ control selection , then I went back into the stream settings of the camera and changed it back to "rtsp://"

That's right, if PTZ commands weren't detected for your camera's URL, try another (from the dropdown list of found URLs in Universal Camera, or from camera's manual). That might help
