I am running Xeoma v16.3.1, I would like to upgrade to the latest version. When I try to connect with newer client it asks if I want to upgrade, when I say yes. It downloads then xeoma basically crashes on the server. I tried manually restarting but that did not work, but rebooting the computer does. It is running headless with Ubuntu 14.04, system is under about 50% load currently with 14 cameras. Is their a way to manually update? Can I just download latest version etc?

Hello!
What made you think that Xeoma had crashed on server? What did your console say about it?
Please, try to use the following console command: -install-removeexe (remove program, leave Archive and config files), then command:-install -coreauto (install Server (autoStart) and client (manualStart). You can find more console commands here: http://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/help/commands/
Manual how-to-install Xeoma on Linux can be found here: http://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/articles/linux-video-surveillance/
Is it working now? Please, keep us posted.
