Moved Archive to new Drive

Postby maladd » Thu Oct 20, 2016 1:35 pm

I'm running Ubuntu with Xeoma installed. I've moved all of my archives off /usr/local/Xeoma/XeomaArchive to a new drive /media/Xeoma/ and cannot seem to get the old recordings to show up in the archive. I removed the /usr/local/Xeoma/XeomaArchive/Archive.db, as well as from /media/Xeoma/XeomaArchive/Archive.db hoping that it would re-build the file on the new drive. It didn't, but put it on /usr/local/Xeoma/XeomaArchive/ again.

Can I point that Archive.db to the new location of recordings?

Maybe I'm missing something, but did you also move the recordings directory? The one that actually contains the video?

As for XeomaArchive, I also run Ubuntu and wanted that directory in another location, so I simply moved it then created a symlink (ln -s). Works flawlessly.

Yes, I moved the archives as well.

I'll try that and let you know.
