Can't send emails using ZOHO smtp

Hi guys,

I've been playing with Xeoma alarms lately and could not make it send emails.
Emails sent from the local SMTP bounce because it's a dynamic IP (duh) but when setting the SMTP to my provider's (ZOHO), I get an error (250-AUTH LOGIN PLAIN).

This error is when I use SSL on port 465 or TLS on port 587, as per their documentation: https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/zoho-smtp.html

I run the server on a linux box and client on windows. Version is 17.3.1 in trial mode.

Google also fails: Less secure app.

Cheers!

Hello!

Make sure that you use full email (e.g. email@hotmail.com) in login field. You can check if it's working fine using 'Test' in 'Sending email' module's settings.

You can try different 'Security' options to investigate the issue: None, Use SSL, Use STARTTLS. Did it help?
