Postby Havouza15 » Thu Oct 19, 2017 3:19 pm

I have installed the cloud-version of Xeoma on our server. Its installed in home/havouza/xeoma.

When I try to connect to it using the client on my laptop it tell me wrong passwors. Is this connection not suppored to work when using the cloud version or what can be wrong

Hi Anders,

Let me recap that. You're using the latest version of Xeoma in Xeoma Pro Your Cloud edition.
Server part is installed on a desktop, client is run on your laptop without installation. It's in the same network with server, correct?
And when you're trying to connect to the server part from the said client, you're getting a wrong password message.

In 90% cases the reason for the wrong password error is exactly that - wrong password. What password are you inputting?
By default, in the Xeoma Pro Your Cloud mode you have 2 users client - one is administrator with password admin, another one is sample user with password demo. You can create your own users with their passwords but please wait a minute after creation till they are fully accepted in the system.

Have you tried inputting passwords admin or demo? Do they work?

Hi
The server part is installed on my Centos 7 co located in Germany. The client is installed on my laptop in Cyprus. I found the problem. The server could not be installed on my laptop. I uninstalled it and launched it and it works
