I am looking for surveillance software that will record only at day. I mean I only need recording say 12 am-9pm with e-mail notification on motion detection and 10 pm-11am monitoring with sound alarm, is that possible with xeoma?

In the new version of Xeoma that is to be released on March, 16 new module - Scheduler - will be added . With its help you can adjust Xeoma to start recording at certain time with modules you need. In your case, you can build two chains of modules, one of them including sound alarm module and scheduler that runs recording from 10 pm to 11 am, and another chain with e-mail notification module and scheduler set up from 12 am till 9 pm.

You can build as many chains as you need to meet your goals precisely.
