Postby CrashHouse » Sun Aug 19, 2012 12:32 pm

Hi I have a H264 Foscam cam and a Acti ACM-8511 ptz cam.
I'm looking for a sollution to replace my synology NAS and its software Surveillance station.
I'm trying to het the Foscam (FI8602W) to work but no success.
Does your software supports H264?

There's a chance that your cam will be auto-detected and plugged in by the program. If doesn't happen, you need to set it up manually. Go to the cam's web interface and check its URL, copy and paste it into Xeoma.

Try these URLs:
(mjpeg) - {your IP address}:{port}/videostream.cgi
(snapshot) - {your IP address}:{port}/snapshot.cgi
i.e., URL like: http://192.168.0.138:81/videostream.cgi

Additionally, you can use these parameters:
?user=(your user name)&pwd= (your password)&resolution= (8:320*240, 32:640*480)&rate= (0=maximum)

Please give us the URL that worked for you and we will add it to the list.

Yes, Xeoma supports H.264 cams with the help of additional component ffmpeg. You need to allow it to be downloaded to your PC straight from Xeoma, or download it yourself from our site (absolutely free of charge) http://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/ffmpeg/ .

We hope that helps.

Doesn't work. Normaly I use VLC and the address rtsp://10.0.0.11/11 and after I put my account and password it works without any problem.

We have been trying to repeat the problem but with no success so far. Please contact our tech support at http://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/contacts/ and allow us to access your cam. We will be glad to help.
