Good (my) evening.

long story short, I re-upped a three year license in december 2021. Was trying to onlineActivate an new install on new machine with ver 21.11.18, but it tells me I have to actually install an old version ( 20.7.31-dated-2020-Aug-21) and use old license. Ok, done that. What do I do now? new box is now running xeoma 20.7.31. Do I now do an onlineActivation with the new license and -then- install xeoma 21.11.18 -over- the installed version? Or the other way around? Or....what?

You can use older licenses in Xeoma. You simply need to reset your license here: [url]https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/support/activation-issues/license-reset/[/url]
And then activate your license in necessary version of Xeoma. Previous versions of Xeoma can be downloaded here: [url]https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/changes/[/url]

If you purchased a renewal license for 1 or 3 years, you can use it with your older Xeoma perpetual license this way:

1. Download suitable Xeoma version. Most probably, if your renewal license is newly purchased, you can use the latest version: [url]https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/download/[/url]
2. Reset your older perpetual license (if it was activated somewhere else before): [url]https://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/support/activation-issues/license-reset/[/url]
3. Activate both of your licenses via Main menu - Registration - Activate - LICENSE;RENEWAL (including semicolon)

Note that Starter and Lite licenses do not have renewal period and can not be used with Standard/Pro renewal licenses. Starter and Lite licenses can be activated on 1 version of Xeoma only (according to the date of purchase).
