What is protected mode anyway?

Protected mode is also called 'operator's mode'. It is generally used when you need to allow an operator to watch cameras without changing any of the settings. As soon as you set up a password for protected mode it will be obligatory to apply any changes to settings.

Please pay attention: to get back to the usual mode you need to enter the password as well. Memorize the password, or save it to a safe place. There is no way to restore the lost password.
