icon bounces but doesn't run

I'm running the Linux Mint 14. I installed Xeoma byt running: ./xeoma.app -install -allauto

The server and client icons are placed in plazma on KDE, I've rebooted and I get nothing. I run xeoma server, an icon bounces for a few, there's a box on the task bar, then it stops bouncing and a moment later the box on the task bar goes away. I get the exact same result when trying to start the client.

Check Task Manager to see if the server is working (Services tab).

Try to run the Client part from the console with
./xeoma.app -client
and see if you will get an error notification. If you do, what does it say? It may be video drivers problem.

When I go to system settings/startup shutdown I don't see the server but if I run top it shows /home/cave-man/bin/xeoma/xeoma - service - startdelay 1.

If I run ./xeoma.app -client I'm told, xwindow graphical shell is not available in console mode. I've installed the nvidia drivers.

Please check in the console if you have XAUTHORITY variable installed:

echo $XAUTHORITY

and

echo $DISPLAY
