Sound Alarm on Server module - OSX path to WAV ???

The example given in the software is the sound file path for a PC -> Full path to a WAV-file (for example: C:\Users\Default\sound.wav) . On OSX, i am inputting the full OSX path as similar to the full path used for access to the archive e.g. (/Users/<username>/Xeoma/Sound/sound.wav) and this is not finding the wav file. Any suggestion on what I need to do to relocate or correctly specify the wav location ?

Regs.

The path you mentioned is pretty normal and must work. However, try to copy the location of the wav file via Get Info menu to avoid any mistakes. So anything like this should work:
xeoma_sound.png
xeoma_sound.png (567.66 KiB) Viewed 8571 times

Possible reasons it doesn't:
1) Sound on your Mac is turned off/too quiet - try to play the sound outside Xeoma with standard utilities.
2) Sound alarm is connected after Motion Detection and there is no motion at the moment - temporarily remove Motion detector to test Sound Alarm, or make sure that there's motion.
3) You connect to the server from a remote client.
4) Wrong settings in the sound alarm module (the interval is of too high a value).

Does it help? If not, please send us a screenshot of your Sound Alarm settings

Hey great,

Thanks for your quick response. I used Get info on the file as you suggested and pasted it in and it worked just fine
