Is it necessary to have a Xeoma server license for each remote USB camera (each running on a separate workstation) in order to have them all connect to a single host Xeoma server?

Not necessarily. You may use Xeoma in free edition on those remote workstations if total number of modules in use there does not exceed 3 (1 video source). That said, please set up chains like on those workstations (one more module can be added - for example, a microphone):

And on your single host Xeoma server you will need to "catch" this stream with "Another Xeoma" like that

This latter server (where you will have all cameras gathered together) will need the license to function but, on the plus side, you will be able to use as many modules as you need (the 3-modules-limitation doesn't apply to the commercial edition).

Please give it a try and let us know if it does or does not fit your needs. If you have further questions or need instructions, feel free to ask.
