This Christmas we released the new Beta version Xeoma 14.12.25. Xeoma has been much improved since the last version:
Archive player now features search for motion. You can select an area to search for motion in and get to play the motion episodes found in that particular area. Also, archive player now has the option to select and irreversibly delete selected intervals, and a button for fast jump to the end of the archive.
While on the preview screens (both Multi- and Single camera view screens), you will be able to track moving objects with the new visualization of movement (motion tracking) feature. Square brackets will appear on moving objects. And - spoiler ahead! – in one of the future versions you will be able to see the “tail” the moving object has left in course of its movement.
If you already thought Xeoma’s scheme building algorithm was flexible, wait until you try its new possibility to build more complicated schemes by connecting several filters to the input pin of a following module. It means that you can now use several conditions, for example, several motion detectors with different zones selected, for video to get to the same archive. Plus, a new filter was added and its name speaks for itself - “Image Rotate”.
Next, the so long waited for Device List is now available for easy management of cameras and groups. Find it in the Main Menu.
Work with Xeoma is now more convenient for security departments and operators. You can do instant screenshots in Single camera view mode. Also, users setup dialog now offers 15 different levels of access rights – when an upstream user views a camera, PTZ controls for this camera will be blocked for all downstream users, which is essential in large corporations. Interactive tips will let you know when one of the modules is not connected, if the module in question passes the video stream on to the following modules or blocks it, if camera is set up wrong, etc.
New localization will extend Xeoma’s geography adding Croatian speakers to the list of lucky users who can enjoy Xeoma in their own language.
FelenaSoft wishes you all the best for Christmas & New Year and hopes that you will like its present - the new Beta version Xeoma 14.12.25. Go ahead and unwrap it right now – it’s already available for download!
