TimeLine won't remember my settings accesing from Android.

Both BETA Versions 13.10.25 (Server runing on Windows XP and client in Android SG3)

When hitting button play (open Archive) to watch the records on the timeline after exiting the program, all settings are gone (Timescale, Playback Speed and the position in the timeline is at the beginning).

This is no problem in the computer where the client is open all the time, but when accessing with the “xeoma beta (for android)” mode remote connection via Local network, this changes because I do have to close the program in android.

I am ok with the general configuration reset thing after 48 hours if you don’t purchase, I understand it but I am not sure if this timeline playback thing goes in the same bag, and if it does, it is really really annoying to go pass all the timeline and setting scale and playback speed every time I want to check what happened the last 20 minutes.

The program is awesome but this is a big fail that becomes more annoying everytime I use the timeline.

If Xeoma is in the trial version, every time you close the program user-defined settings get reset to defaults (with only exception that when the server of Xeoma is installed, settings get reset only when the server is stopped).

This concerns all user-defined settings - be it archives, passwords, or timeline position. Naturally, when archive recordings get erased at program closing, what would be the point of saving the timeline settings and playback position?

However, if you have Xeoma running on your desktop and use Android device to connect to it and view the cameras and archives, the mentioned settings should be saved even if you exit Xeoma on Android (as long as the server on desktop continues to run).

Is it the case?

I said client on desk when I meant server on desk as you say in last paragraph.
Server is installed on XP desk and I access it via Android.

Now that I have used it more, I can tell it works as you say, timeline settings are saved and continues from the last position but, sometimes and only sometimes, it gets all reset (position, scale and speed).

I have done several tries (all from my Android) to get the combination that makes these 3 settings to reset (different ways to close the program by exiting with the menu, or just pushing the shut down button, or kill process it or unplugging the battery) all this combined with been in different parts of the program or while still on playback but I got it to reset only once so I don’t exactly know yet how this gets reset.

If it continues to happen and I get the combination that resets it, I’ll come here to inform.

Besides that, all goes very good and now is saving those 3 settings most of the times.
