Tenvis IPROBOT 3

Postby uhtred » Tue Apr 22, 2014 5:50 pm

Hello,
I am evaluating the trial and have been able to get all cameras to function except the Tenvis IPROBOT3, I have tried multiple configuration lines and streams but nothing works, here is some information from the tenvis website on the IPROBOT 3 URLS: http://www.tenvis.com/blog/direct-url-to-iprobot3-videostream-and-image.html. Supposedly the IPROBOT 3 is ONVIF compliant but that does not work either.

Thanks,
Uhtred

0) Do you test the latest version of Xeoma?
1) Is the camera in the same (local) network?
2) Is it connected via WiFi (WLAN)?
3) Is it found and auto added when you run the local search or advanced search by IP/password (both - options in the "+" menu in the panel below the main window)?

If Xeoma does auto-detect your cameras but you can't see camera's output where it should be (you see black screen or "Waiting for the image" message instead), please check if you specified the right login and password for access to the camera. To do that, please go to the Universal camera settings in Xeoma (click on camera icon) and check the corresponding fields.

If Xeoma doesn't auto-detect your cameras when you launch the program at all, can you get camera's output shown in an internet browser at the same time?

Try to configure the camera manually (click "Add new camera" in "+" menu, then go to the camera's settings and fill in fields there). Most probably, you will need to select "Manual Setup" instead of manufacturer there and specify the full URL of MJPEG/JPEG/H264/MPEG-4 stream from your camera - you will need to consult the camera's documentation or web interface to find the right URL. But here are the suggested URLs that may work for your camera model:

http://IPADDRESS/videostream.asf?usr=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]
http://IPADDRESS/snapshot.jpg?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]&strm=[CHANNEL]
http://IPADDRESS/videostream.cgi?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]&resolution=32&rate=0
http://IPADDRESS/videostream.cgi?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]&resolution=32
http://IPADDRESS/snapshot.cgi?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]

rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/
rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/ch0_0.h264
rtsp://IPADDRESS:8001/0/av0
rtsp://IPADDRESS:8001/0/av1
rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/live.sdp

([USERNAME], [PASSWORD], [CHANNEL] should be replaced with the corresponding values, no brackets, and IPADDRESS with your camera’s IP address). And don’t forget the camera credentials, if it uses authorization. The camera may be using unusual ports so please check its web interface and, if needed, let Xeoma know what ports to use.

Please let us know whether camera worked after you followed the recommendations.

Your suggestions worked. For some reason, probably my own fault, I didn't see that in the URL field that it changed http:// to rtsp:// when you entered in the full URL to the camera source. For reference the URL that worked with the Tenvis IPROBOT 3 is:

rtsp://[USERNAME]:[PASSWORD]@IPADDRESS:8001/0/av0
or for secondary stream:
rtsp://[USERNAME]:[PASSWORD]@IPADDRESS:8001/0/av1

Thank you for the help, this is a great product.

Thank you for the information! We'll use it to make Xeoma recognize the model automatically.
