Output signal to serial or parallel port?

Postby gjvo » Sun Nov 27, 2011 12:46 am

Hello, your program seems to works great.
I am testing with it now but i was wondering if it is possible when motion is detected to send a signal to the parallel or serial port?
So, instead of a sound, a high or low output direct to a port.
For us the time between detecting the motion and an outputsignal must be as short as possible.
We want to use it as a sort of photogate for modelplanes.

Thank you!

Sounds like you already have an utility that sends signal via parallel or serial to your equipment.
In this case you can use "Run program" Destination - to execute your utility and send a signal on a motion detected.

Thanks for your answer.
We don't have a program that gets a signal from a port, but i just need a fast switching signal.
But you gave me an idea, i can write a script that is executed by the motion.
Thanks!
