As I understand, it is good for 8 cameras, but apparently it cannot be used remotely, which I have been trying to find an app for for years. I only need to use it a couple of times a week, for a few minutes a time.
Please let me know if it is good for remote use and I just can't get it set up, or is it not possible

Free version doesn's allow Remote access.

Trial/Commercial/Lite and Pro versions allow remote access.
If you do not have static ip address on your server and want to connect remotely, you can use our Repeater service: http://felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/description/#repeater
Repeater is available to test 10 mins per day for free (Main menu - Remote Access - Repeater setup - turn on the Repeater and make sure that Xeoma is installed/remote access is allowed)
