Settings on one camera missing in client app.

Postby kakemanx » Thu Sep 07, 2017 2:19 pm

Hi everyone.

On one of my cameras the left sidebar meny and the upper right side settings button is missing...
All the other cameras have it present so i'm guessing it's a setting i have overlooked :/

From the serverside everything is in order...

I anyone can shed some light to my problem i would be gratefull

PS: Problem goes for Client on both android and win10

Could you please send us a screenshot of the issue? 'Sidebar' menu is a list of module?

So when you connect using Xeoma Client on the Server machine (locally) everything is working fine? And remotely you can not see particular settings, right?

You can check Main menu - Remote access - Users - and make sure that you use Administrator password to connect.

I will try to make a screenshot later...
Client on the server locally (ubuntu) Works fine With all cameras, but Client on a Remote win10 pc and my phone (android) one camera (all others work as should) are missing the "swipe in" left sidebar in camera view, and also the modules button in the upper right corner... else that this the cam is working as sould..

Please check that you're connected as Administrator remotely. You can check admin password on server using -showpassword command or via Main menu - Remote access - Users.

These are two different cameras as we can see. As far as I understood, the camera that has missing 'modules' list' remotely, does have it when you connect locally.

Please check that you're connected as Administrator remotely. You can check admin password on server using -showpassword command or via Main menu - Remote access - Users.

Are you connected as Admininstrator with full rights remotely?

Hello! You can go Main menu -> Install -> Install and check the admin's password (see attachment). Do you use this password for the access or a different one? The only way we know of for these symbols to not be displayed is to be connected as a user without sufficient privileges.
Alternatively, you can use the command -showpassword on the server directly (here is the full list of commands).
