[SOLVED] PTZ Tracking affected by digital artifacts in image

Postby NginUS » Sat Jun 09, 2018 11:11 pm

I have the trial running & it's working better than the free edition in that the IP scan finds a better-looking image than otherwise. But I get these pixel distortions & they're seen as false motion.

When I look at the camera's onboard webserver that displays via flash, I don't have any problems.

Hello! You may want to try the latest version (18.6.14) and set TCP as Transport protocol type in the Universal camera settings. If the distortions persist, check the bitrate settings for the stream in the camera's admin page. When bitrate is unstable (too high or too low), distortions can occur.

TCP is far better, thanks.
