Motion Detector and Scheduler questions

Postby user_33412 » Mon Sep 13, 2021 10:34 pm

In the Motion Detector module, the brush area is only 336x252 pixels. Is it possible to zoom into this area to brush with more accuracy? Also, is it possible to save/export the marked area?

In the Scheduler module, is it possible to use sunrise/sunset defined by latitude/longitude? Vehicle headlights reflect off side of building during nighttime, so I would like to exclude that side of building from motion detection during nighttime.

Thanks!

Hello!
Regarding Motion Detector:
There are 2 ways to go about it:
1) you can scale Xeoma's interface via Layouts menu -> Window settings -> Scale interface - this will, among other things, zoom the brush area;
2) you can use JSON API to set the detection zone in pixels; that same API can be used to "export" the marked area.

Regarding Scheduler:
Currently it does not take your geographical position into consideration. However, you can use Day Detector (and Condition) instead.
